Item 1143: Coro Sterling Silver Fur Clip and Earrings - Sterling silver leaf shaped brooch with a gold vermeil. Matching clip earrings. This is part of the "Golden Laurel" suite by Coro and displayed in fashion magazines in 1947. The edges of the leaf are tipped with red rhinestones. Two rows of clear sparkling rhinestones run down the center. The fur clip is pierced and undulating in design giving further dimension. Signature: CoroCraft Sterling. A Design Patent 148,423 was issued to Adolph Katz in 1948 although this clip is not signed with that number. The earrings are stamped Coro Sterling. Size: Clip 2.75" by 1.85". Earrings 1.25".
